I work in multiples and in traditional and new media, including installations, depending on the concept behind each piece and the best method of communication.
Generally, my work is about time and being, and the compulsions of day-to-day living and of love. It is about temporal versus eternal, the interrelation of humans and their tradition/beliefs within the environments they live. Through my work I aim to raise questions and awareness to issues both personal and universal.
All my work since 2009 fall under "Project Silkworm" - inspired by the history of my family's silk farm that was confiscated by the Communist government and the semiotics of culture and localities and time.
